Xiaomi has moved a step closer to releasing the HyperOS 3 update for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra outside China. The company has now finalized the global firmware builds, signaling that the international rollout based on Android 16 is approaching.

Recent backend updates confirm that both the Global and European (EEA) versions of HyperOS 3 for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra have completed development and are ready for deployment. This follows the earlier rollout of the same update in China, which served as the first large-scale validation phase.

  • Global and EEA Builds Are Ready for Release
  • Xiaomi has finalized two stable builds for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra:
  • Global ROM: OS3.0.1.0.WMAMIXM
  • EEA ROM: OS3.0.1.0.WMAEUXM

Both versions are based on Android 16. The version structure confirms that these builds are no longer in internal testing and are cleared for public distribution. The only remaining step is Xiaomi’s usual phased rollout, which helps reduce server load and monitor early feedback.

These builds are separate from the China ROM and are tailored specifically for global markets, including Google services and regional compliance requirements.

China Update Offers Early Insight

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra already received HyperOS 3 in China earlier, giving users and observers a preview of what the global audience can expect. The China rollout focused heavily on improving system stability, optimizing performance under Android 16, and expanding AI-powered features across core apps.

Historically, Xiaomi follows a predictable update pattern for its flagship devices: China first, then Global and EEA after validation. With stable international builds now confirmed, the wait for global users is expected to be short.

What’s New With HyperOS 3 on Xiaomi 13 Ultra

HyperOS 3 introduces a refined software experience designed to make the Xiaomi 13 Ultra feel faster, smoother, and more intelligent. Key improvements include:

  • Updated system icons and refreshed visual elements
  • More fluid animations and transitions
  • System-level optimizations for better responsiveness
  • Expanded AI features integrated into everyday apps

One of the standout additions is a “Super Island”-style live activity interface, which displays ongoing tasks, alerts, and system events in a more dynamic and visually engaging way.

Together, these changes aim to enhance daily usability while taking full advantage of Android 16’s performance and efficiency improvements.

Global Rollout Expected Soon

With both Global and EEA builds marked as stable, Xiaomi is expected to begin the staged rollout of HyperOS 3 for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra in the near future. Users should keep an eye on system update notifications, as availability may vary by region and rollout phase.

Once released, the update will further extend the flagship lifecycle of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, ensuring it remains competitive with the latest Android features and system enhancements.
