🚀 Xiaomi Officially Rolls Out the November 2025 Android Security Patch (HyperOS 2)
Xiaomi once again proves its commitment to quick updates by officially releasing the November 2025 Android Security Patch — even before Google. This new update adds support for HyperOS 2, enhancing overall system stability and performance.
🔐 HyperOS 2 Changes Based on Android 15
This update is being rolled out across various regions and models:
- 📱 Xiaomi 13T (EEA) – OS2.0.211.0.VMFEUXM (Android 15)
- 📱 POCO M6 / Redmi 13 / Redmi 13X (Global) – OS2.0.203.0.VNTMIXM (Android 15)
- 📱 POCO C75 5G / Redmi A4 (India) – OS2.0.203.0.VGVINXM (Android 15)
Meanwhile, Redmi Note 12 and Note 12R Pro are still receiving software upgrades based on Android 14 but with the November 2025 patch. Their corresponding firmware versions are OS2.0.5.0.UMQMIXM (Global) and OS2.0.6.0.UMQEUXM (EEA). These devices remain under Xiaomi’s Long-Term Support (LTS) plan.
📢 Google Yet to Announce the Patch
Interestingly, while Xiaomi has already started distributing the November 2025 patch to users, Google has yet to release its monthly security bulletin. This once again shows that Xiaomi leads ahead of Google in regular security patch distribution.

Although the full changelog has not yet been published, it is confirmed that this update includes several security vulnerability fixes. HyperOS 2, based on Android 15, offers improved multitasking performance and enhanced app permission security management.
